Develop driver for remote PC-104 Intel based computer systems for the army RSV 2008

Tosa Consultants develop driver for remote PC-104 Intel based computer systems for the army RSV. The design must initiatives up to 12 different input/output cards interfacing with RTOS. The computer systems are communicated using UDP in real time

Develop code in Ada95 target on a Linux (Debian) system.

The Drivers was developed using C/C++ and design documented using OOD.

The PC-104 is replacing most of the older pie system.

The system is configuring using configuration files; therefore no code changes need to be made to change the input/output cards.

Software support at Ft Poke for
Army Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC). 2006

Tosa Consultants Supported software upgrades for the Army Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC). The JRTC provides Live Training using Instrumentations and Simulations to measure the readiness of the warrior.  Task is to upgrade the Fire Support Live Simulation from using a local coordinate system to the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) System and to extend the range of the Fire Support simulation. Required for new more advances weapon require the extended ranges

Future Combat System (FCS) design of commutation and RSV 2005

Future Combat System (FCS) team member for the army; task was developed and test components of Manned Ground Vehicle Common Operational Environment (MGVCOE) a subset of System of System Common Operational Environment (SoSCOE).  Tosa Consultants developed the sensor I/O manager RTOS. This manager controls the vehicle subsystem Intelligence, Sensor and Reconnaissance (ISR) CMD/Response Path via Sensor Initiation Protocol (SIP).

Virtual Embedded Maintenance Trainer (VEMT) to support the F/A-18E/F 2004

Developing software for real-time Virtual Embedded Maintenance Trainer (VEMT) to support the F/A-18E/F aircraft training requirements. Tosa Consultants task was to develop a maintenance simulation for the Active Electronically Scanned Array APG-79 radar system. The simulator is used to train maintenances personal by incorporating failures into the simulation and responding to troubleshooting technique. The VEMT is being developed in parallel with the APG-79 radar system.

WARSIM—redesigned the Army After Action Review        2001

An After Action Review (AAR) is defined by the US Army as a professional discussion of an event, focused on performance standards, that enables soldiers to discover what happened, why it happened, and how to sustain strengths and improve on weaknesses. The objective is to improve individual and collective task performance by providing immediate feedback about how the training or tasks could have been done better.
